I suck at being a Virgo. Outside of my curious love of office supplies and little small bowl and organizational systems …. okay maybe I don’t so much SUCK at being a Virgo. Really I am the product of what happens when Virgo meets ADD. I love plans, I love making detailed little plans. And then when I can’t follow them I freak out and feel like a failure. So survival means skipping the plans and winging it. I don’t have a cute red dress hanging outside my closet to fixate on. I don’t have a size I want to [...]
Its a weird thing – that straw that breaks the camel’s back. (as a note – I DO know that some of the below contains hyperbole) I am running out of jeans that have enough structural integrity to keep me from being indecent, and also, ya know, fit. I went out to the store I always shop at to fix this problem. They have restyled, resized blahblahblah whatever their jeans. The size i am currently wearing – does’t fit. The size larger doesn’t fit – but differently. Those sizes in all the different shapes – don’t fit. WELL FUCK!! (when [...]

This affects way more things that exercise – but as one can imagine especially with something like exercise where I have sort of a love/hate relationship with [...]
For those who it might bother –
A heads up – in the near future I might be posting about exercise and possibly that would include the logical changes in my health and shape. I can’t really filter due to the way I post to WordPress, and cross-post to LJ and DW. For those of you who this isn’t an issue – just move along …
Linky things January 21st
Here is some stuff I have been reading that I thought folks might like: January 21st – Look, dudes are for looking, dammit – but the more you think about it, the more it’s obvious how these beliefs are wound throughout our social narratives about sex, from arguing that teen girls have sex for attention (not desire) to the way that homophobes obsess over gay men having anal sex, which puts a man in the inconceivable/intolerable position (in their view) of being penetrated, which is what women are for. January 21st – No Time Like the Present to Choose Strong [...]
