is there anyway to know how much magnet one might need for a project *before* buying a bunch and trying them out? I am working on putting together an Alton Brown style spice rack, (and yes I know he uses velcro – but I thought magnets might work as well or better and velcro bugs me) – I was thinking I could mount a metal plate on the *inside* of a cabinet door, and put the tins on the outside – if I could find a strong enough magnet. I haven’t done a meme in a long while – but this one amused me . . . Bold means I loved it/watched it religiously/etc. Italic means I liked it but did not watch religiously. Regular roman letters means I didn’t see it or was pretty much indifferent to it. Strikeout means I have seen it but disliked it. So part of this Alyse is out of work thing, and alyse is looking for a new job thing, is that its like I am back in career counseling in High school all over again. I did some career counselling with a few months ago and posted the first batch of results here and here. I found an online testing site that gave me some of the same tests she did plus some and then generates lists of jobs that apply to the results of each test.
