So I have to admit that one of the things I like best about having a new fancy Tivo is streaming stuff from Netflix. I especially enjoy streaming seasons of televisions shows that I never got to see when they were on the first time.  But now I am finding that Netflix has a trick up its sleeve and I don’t see its purpose.  For some of the seasons they are taking single episodes and making them DVD only.  So I can see 90% of the episodes of a show, but if I want to see all of them I [...]

ya know – Fuck wikipedia’s “we don’t warn about spoiler’s policy” . . . I don’t think i shoud have to worry about TV show spoilers when reading an actor’s bio.  After dogding Torchwood spoilers for weeks on LJ I got spoiled in 30 seconds reading one of the actor’s bios. Fuck

I am done with TV associating the sight of a Muslim man praying with doom, terror and fear. If I could recall even one instance of that scene not turning into something that is supposed to scare us maybe i would be less upset. I can’t imagine how much that sucks for someone who is Muslim, for their sacred rituals to be inextricably linked as prequel to death.

 

So I am a perfectionist – no really – it might not seem like it. It gets applied a little all or nothing and in some situation the application is a bit more othodox than others. It comes down to that old adage “Do something right, or don’t do it”, I usually only do things that I perceive myself “good” (and my standards for “good” are pretty high).
