Here is some stuff I have been reading that I thought folks might like: February 8th – Thoughts on the Misogyny Bowl in advertising (versus a truly uplifting game) – "The way for a man to regain his balls/spine, suggested the ad, was to get a Flo TV so that he could passively-aggressively watch his game [...] So I have to admit that one of the things I like best about having a new fancy Tivo is streaming stuff from Netflix. I especially enjoy streaming seasons of televisions shows that I never got to see when they were on the first time. But now I am finding that Netflix has a trick [...] ya know – Fuck wikipedia’s “we don’t warn about spoiler’s policy” . . . I don’t think i shoud have to worry about TV show spoilers when reading an actor’s bio. After dogding Torchwood spoilers for weeks on LJ I got spoiled in 30 seconds reading one of the actor’s bios. Fuck I am done with TV associating the sight of a Muslim man praying with doom, terror and fear. If I could recall even one instance of that scene not turning into something that is supposed to scare us maybe i would be less upset. I can’t imagine how much that sucks for someone [...] rant Rant RANT! Frustration abounds …. This is the nth time this year Evan has been afraid of losing his job …. but yet he still doesn’t see that he doesn’t act like he Wants his job. I can’t get him to study, he doesn’t seem to see that being sick, absent, absent minded [...] |
