As odd as this might sound, I am looking for an ISP in chicago that provides Dial Up service, and phone support for a reasonable price. Any ideas? ETA – this is not for me it is for someone with low tech needs and low tech capabilities

I phones switched over sometime wednesday mid morning! WHeee!!! Got the new phones with base and handset installed and YAY it all works. It sends me e-mail when I get voicemail, it even takes faxes in my voicemail (THAT IS LIKE WHOA COOL!). I tested it yesterday, faxed myself at my home phone and it turned up in my voicemail (which I can access through the web) as a .tif file. Now we are paying about 1/2 as much for more services, the same long distance, a product that works, and support from people who really don’t suck . . [...]

 

VOIP here we come . . . I just called speakeasy and have set us up for their VOIP service. Anyone have any particular luck (or bad luck) with any base/satelite phone systems?
