Oy! And I meant to post so often! blahblahblah … Enough with the kvetching already … on to the update. So far pretty good with maintaining regularity – in the sense that we are mostly keeping to the schedule of getting to the club 3-4 days per week. I originally started with a ton of classes, yoga, pilates etc. but my schedule got so crazy that I started missing classes and I was getting pouty so hopefully in a few weeks when life slows down again I’ll start making it back to the pilates class. Seriously – and to me some of them sound kind of twisty – but S. who actually knows some of the people involved says they make some sense. A. When I start making a plan and goals, if I don’t meet them perfectly, I then use it as an excuse to not continue. And once I start planning, I start micro-managing – thus leaving me endless opportunities to fail to meet the plan. Not that I need any more dust collectors in my house. But really – if you are going to have one, it should be as cool as this. My dad’s company makes packaging for all kinds of stuff, and this time it really got us some nice schwag.  To the left here you can see a bit of  the base of Darth Maul Lightsaber that he gave us.  Including the wrench and connector so it can be connected up to another one to make a full Lightsaber quaterstaff thingie.  I don’t know if it from the Master Replica line or [...]

Whoot Plates . . .

Some of you may know, that Evan and I have been casually keeping an eye out for new everyday plates for a while now. We love the look of what we got when we got married, BUT, they didn’t hold up well to our and our friends handling and they were kind of bowl shaped which let all the food sort of ooze to the middle (Yick!).
