We did! I really liked this movie, but I think I can see where some people’s complaints came from. Imho the problem wasn’t with the movie, but with the audiences, and what they expect when they see a “comic book” movie or a “superhero” movie. Compared to the movie we usually get when there are costumed crime fighters, this was a very different animal. Much more oriented towards the character’s motivations and navigating moral grey areas. I think. This will likely be redundant being that we were the last people on the planet to see Juno. But we LOVED it – I liked the story, I liked the style, and I liked the way it treated the characters – low on stereotypes and high on facets. 27 Dresses, pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a romantic comedy, nothing unexpected, but cute. 2 stations 2 movies – both cut to hell, overdubbed, looped both movies – practically ruined Grease The Breakfast Club they actually had to remove most of some of the musical numbers in grease – Why don’t they just show some other people that is “appropriate” *sigh*
Evan and I are looking at our netflix friends page – and are really suprised at some of the ratings that our friends gave movies we really liked or really hated. I wish there was someway for people to give a little more info about Why they liked or didn’t like something so I could see some of their thought process.
