My relationship to the religion I was raised in is somewhat mixed, while also being mostly totally angst free on my side. For those who don’t know, I was raised Jewish, in a heavily Jewish community (well compared to most of the rest of the country), went to temple fairly regularly, and went to sunday school till I confirmed. Whee this is a busy time of the year. Note to self for next year – buy Yule gifts in july and/or make something – but do it before Samhain or you will only be crazy by midwinter. So far the holidays have been very good and very busy – and as much as I love seeing everyone, I know January will be a huge relief – if only for allowing me to be home with no guests more than 2 nights in a row. (not that I don’t really love having the guests – but I know I will [...]
