October 5th – Dealing with FOX News with awesomesauce and attitude – this is a great interview – some how I think the interviewer didn’t get exactly what he wanted here.
October 5th – When Jesus ate the magic mushrooms | Page 2 of 2 – “This much we know: mushrooms inspire a numinous state, and Jesus was nothing if not a card-carrying mystic. A seer. An anti-establishment, proto-hippie, street-screamin’ visionary who hung out with prostitutes and freaks and loved everyone equally, saw everyone as full incarnation of pure divinity right here on earth. And he was what, sober? Sure.
October 4th – Huckabee: Boycotts are Un-American! | Dispatches from the Culture Wars – Here is the thing I don’t get – in my mind you can either be for more consumer protection regulations, or you can be for the market voting with its pocket book. If you are against both, then you just show your ass, as someone completely in the pocket of the business community. I mean consumers need some way to protect themselves, right?

August 30th – Tiger Beatdown › CHRONICLES OF MANSPLAINING: Professor Feminism and the Deleted Comments of Doom – Here is an awesome quote from a comment on an awesome post. “There’s no shame in liking problematic entertainment. Most entertainment is problematic. The only shame is when your identity becomes so bound up in an entertainment or a subculture that you literally cannot let yourself acknowledge it might have problems, and need to Mansplain them all away, or talk about how you are being persecuted for liking them.”
August 30th – Guilty pleasures – I like this, also particularly like her notes about Turntable …
