You may or may not know that I am part of a seed ordering co-op. The idea is that with a bunch of us ordering seeds we can try a larger variety of things without having a bunch of wasted seeds, or spending a zillion dollars. We are generally focused on Heirloom and non-gmo varieties. Most of us currently participating care about trying to not spend money with Monsanto as well. The places we currently order from are: Baker Creek Seeds Kitchen Garden Seeds (John Scheepers) Seed Savers Exchange Territorial Seeds Abundant Life Seeds Park Seeds If you think you [...]
Seeds! Come Co-op with us.
I am sure many of you are familiar with that phrase from the produvtion company tag line at the end of some tv show. I seriously hope they were going for caricatures, because they certainly got them, and not always in a way that was okay for me (materialistic wife who hates her husbands dreams, minorities as spunky but useful backup, driven career girl and christian/slutty/blond cheerleader, evil high-school cliques, etc I could go on and on. Getting ready to go to Wiscon for my first time. As usual feeling trepidations and shy. I wish I [...]
